Description
The term “Left Bank” is borrowed from the wine jargon, paying homage to the origins of the barrels on which this beer is aged. Sauternes, from Bordeaux left bank, is a sweet wine that lends the beer sweet orange marmalade and apricots notes. The Pinot Blanc barrel, who adds most of the floral notes in the beer, comes from the left bank of the Rhine River in Alsace. The malty, assertively bitter West Coast base gets rounded by the time in the barrels and then gets a good dose of dry-hopping with Cascade and Nelson Sauvin, enhancing all the wine goodness in the beer.
