Description
Cabernet Sauvignon is a grape that does very well in the Vistaflores part of Mendoza’s Uco Valley as is amply shown by this wine. The fruit comes from fifty year old vines which provide real concentration of flavour. After fermentation, half is matured in new French oak barrels for 12 months and half in stainless steel. The result is a wine bursting with a pronounced nose of cassis and eucalyptus. Rich, and full bodied with intense black fruits, liquorice, mint and sweet spice, it’s dense, concentrated and powerful with plentiful grippy tannins.
