Description
Domaine de la Côte is a collection of five vineyards in the far western reaches of the Sta. Rita Hills, seven miles from the Pacific Ocean in Santa Barbara County, California.
“The ebullience of the ripe red fruit is almost overwhelming, as cranberry and cherry notes take you to the apex of sunny ripeness without becoming jammy. Rich floral tones lift the nose and merge with the leafy, peppery charge of whole cluster fermentation. The lushness
doesn’t sprawl, though, as the wine’s mineral aspect—suggested by aromas reminiscent of rock dust or dried river beds—keeps it firm, as does the structure applied by incisive acidity and ordered, well- drawn tannins.” Producer Website
